Boxing historian Don Cogswell has written numerous articles over the years for the boxing press, including its premiere professional publication, the IBRO Journal. He is a long standing member of the International Boxing Research Organization, and more recently a member of the California Historical Society. He is currently completing a collection of writings on the sweet science, as well as working on his book-in-progress, Native Sons in a Golden State. Mr. Cogswell, a native of upstate New York, lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
