The Jewish Film Institute has partnered with the Jerusalem Film Workshop (JFW) to sponsor young and emerging filmmakers (ages 19 - 27) from the Bay Area to participate in the Summer 2018 workshop (June 24 - August 3, 2018), a six-week intensive filmmaking and film studies program in Israel. Collaborate with international students, meet leaders from Israel's film industry, and produce work to be screened at the Jerusalem International Jewish Film Festival.
To apply for the Jewish Film Institute's sponsorship, please fill out the application by April 27, 2018. Applicants will be notified of their status in May 2018. The Jerusalem Film Workshop is free of charge to participants. It is run in collaboration with Jewish film festivals around the world, each of which selects its students to participate.
