THE ART OF SHIMON ATTIE is a quirky, fast-paced look at the work of renowned photographer Shimon Attie. Attie's projects recount the history of the Nazi war against the Jews and contextualizes this history in the present. The video uses interviews and experimental devices to faithfully render the effect of some of Attie's most daring exhibits. The Writing on the Wall features slide projections of pre-war Jewish street life in Berlin. His Portrait of Exile is an underwater installation that explores human-rights efforts, past and present.
