Dalit and Barry meet in summer school and are instantly, irrevocably attracted. But physical affection is out because Dalit, an Orthodox Jew, observes "negiah" (no touching until marriage). This clash between tradition and the secular, carnal world is resolved with a great deal of humor and love. First Prize, 1988 New York University Student Film Awards.
