In Brooklyn, New York, the Black and Jewish communities share a long history of victimization, but rising tensions between them have led to violence.Enter a Rabbi and a Reverend, who decide the first step towards breaking the cycle is to bring their Brooklyn congregations together to worship, learn about each other’s histories, and spur positive change in the community around them. The film follows this journey, as both congregations begin to grapple with the very real issues of race, religion, and identity that have come to the surface, showing both their moments of frustration and their boundless humanity.
