They Call Me Dr. Miami

Dr. Michael Salzhauer, a.k.a. Dr. Miami is the most famous plastic surgeon in America, and the first doctor to livestream graphic tummy tucks and breast augmentations on Snapchat – all with the enthusiastic consent of his patients.  He's followed by millions of people, mostly teenagers who can't get enough of his live operations, and his multiple skits. He was nominated for Snapchatter of the Year alongside Kylie Jenner and DJ Khaled. Tabloids covered him for Twitter feuding with Nicki Minaj and doing “mommy makeovers” for Teen Moms and Bad Girls. He also happens to be a devout Orthodox Jew. While chasing fame, and appearing in hip hop music videos, can this Orthodox Jewish father of five carry on with his gimmick and still preserve his identity? This funny and incisive film explores how Dr. Miami balances the celebrity status he actively cultivates while maintaining his conservative Orthodox Jewish faith.
