Full Description
Celebrated Russian actor Valery Ostrovsky stands on the stage in his home town for the last time. The political climate in Moscow - shot through with tension and fear - has persuaded him to emigrate to Israel with his wife and son to pursue his only desire, acting. The move is a rude awakening: Valery's Hebrew illiteracy makes it impossible for him to find work as an actor. Humiliated and unable to contend with the challenges of his new life, Valery learns that he has received a prize for a film he made in Russia.
