Full Description
The life of 13-year-old Oran Almog was diverted from its course during a suicide bombing attack at Maxim restaurant in Haifa. Oran lost his father, his brother, his grandparents and his cousin as well as his eyesight. Facing the Wind follows this charming and mature young man and illustrates the unique way in which he deals with the world around him and adjusts to his new reality. His love for the sea, which he inherited from his grandfather, leads him to become a blind mariner and to follow his dream of establishing a sailing club in memory of his grandfather.
