Anna Rose Moore is an LA-based screenwriter and director originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she graduated from the University of Michigan. Anna Rose has won awards for her writing in both comedy and drama. She has placed in a number of screenwriting competitions, including the ATHENA LIST (winner 2017), the GLAAD LIST (winner 2019), the PAGE INTERNATIONAL AWARDS (finalist 2017), the Austin Film Festival (semi-finalist 2017), ScreenCraft (semi-finalist 2017), the BLACK LIST Women in Film Feature Lab (Finalist 2018), and the LA Femme Film Festival (finalist 2017), among others. In addition to screenwriting, Anna is a classically trained vocalist who has previously worked as a songwriter and pop singer. During her time as a performer, Anna had the pleasure of opening for the Pointer Sisters and being nominated for her songwriting for Best Pop Song at the Hollywood Music In Media Awards. Her first dramatic feature, “SCOTT”, was optioned by DAY ZERO PRODUCTIONS in 2019 and she was subsequently hired to write a pilot based on the script. The short film SOMETHING TO REMEMBER ME BY is her directorial debut. She is represented by Jeff Portnoy at Bellevue Productions.
