This account of the Ethiopian Jews is presented at a time when their problems are desperately in need of exploration. THE FALASHAS studies the people who trace their lineage back to King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, and depicts Falasha customs including circumcision, observance of Sabbath, and Torah study in a mud hut synagogue.
